A  grasshopper  was  bouncing  around,  tweeting,  and  singing  loudly  on  a  hot  day  in  a  field. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great effort an ear of corn he was taking to his nest   Instead  of  working  your  life  away,  the  Grasshopper  suggested,  "why  don't  you  come  and  chat  with  me?"   The Ant advised you to do the same because I am assisting with food storage for the winter.   "Why bother about winter?" said the Grasshopper   "We  currently  have  enough  of  food." Short Stories but the Ant went on its way and continued its toil When winter arrived, the grasshopper discovered that it was starving to death while watching the ants share the corn and grain they had stored during the summer every day. Then the Grasshopper knew.....

  A scholar was visited by an American tourist. He was astounded to discover that the scholar’s residence was a plain, simple room. A mat and an earthen water pot were the only pieces of furniture. Scholar', with due respect, may I ask where your furniture and other household items are?' 'Where is yours?' says scholar 'Mine?' says the tourist. But I'm just passing through.' 'So am I,' says scholar. The moral of the story is that we are only visitors in this world, and we should not try to find connections in the material world."

Two girls were having fun named Emma and Joe. Emma had a marble collection. Joe was carrying some sweets. Emma told Joe that she will give her all the marbles in exchange for her sweets. Joe agreed. Emma set aside the largest and most beautiful marble and gave the rest to Joe. As promised, Joe gave Emma all of her sweets. That night, Joe slept soundly. But Emma couldn't sleep because she was wondering if Joe had hidden some sweets from her like she had hidden her favorite marble. Moral: If you don't give your all in any relationship, you'll always wonder if the other person is doing the same
